The fact that these are still showing in stock makes me wonder if there is a problem with their inventory count.

Double Eagle I hope your not right about that,but when I think about it the first time someone posted that the mags were available this past week I was placing my order when my shopping cart automatically went from 2 to 0. I was not fast enough to get my order in so I lost out. None of my local gun shops can get them, they have not seen them in months. Now midway is the only place that has them and their web site still shows them in stock. I did order 2 mags and got me email conformation from midway, I guess we will see, but you may be right their could be a problem on midways end, they are closed on the weekends, so I don't know how anything would be updated when the place is closed. As far as I know you cant even get them directly from smith&wesson because of the backlog in m&p orders they have to fill.

Midway is spot on. If you ordered and got confirmation you're good. They're notorious for releasing small quantities of product at a time and are strict about their two mag limit. I've already received shipping for my orders.

My order of 2 9mm 17 rnd mags are "on the truck" as of Sunday night. I have always received great service from Midway.
I have had some 9mm 17's on back order with S&W since May of this year.
If anyone else sees the back order log jam from S&W start to break on these mags, please let me know.

44Mag lowered the price to $60 per 17 rd mag. That's still way high if you ask me. I also saw the are selling some FS M&P 9s for $425. That sounded like a good deal at first. Then I read the description and see that it comes with NO magazines... What a joke!!

So big of 44mag.com to drop their price a whole $30. Now the mags are on sale at the killer deal of buy 1 for the price of 2! Where do I sign up? And seriously who sells a semi auto S&W with NO MAGS?! Thst is simply asinine.

Anyone's tracking number working? The order screen for my magazines showed today for est delivery but my tracking info says not available.
Not worried at this point but I've always relieved stuff quick from them (I live 2 hours away in KC).

Mine looks like a USPS tracking number. They frequently don't give you real time updates.
Mine shows the same (unavailable) for 2 of my 3 orders. An order from Friday (.40 mags), shows tracking, Sat (9mm mags) & Sundays (shield mags) orders both show "unavailable". I just called CS about it but their system is down as well as the web site right now, so he couldn't provide any input. I'll try calling back when I see the website back online and post any findings.

44 mag is parting out guns and parting guns from magazines methinks....
On another forum they were recalling a mysterious appearance of core top ends, then pro frames, now pistols without magazines. All the while they've been fleecing the masses for magazines. I was told by an FFL that such a thing existed as a full size gun shipping from the factory with 3 magazines intended for sale to security and police. Imagine if they got ahold of the packages that come with three instead of two magazines. They'd almost make a killing in parting those guns out. I can only assume the 9 FS without mags are stripped down "duty" packages.
