Glock seems to understand business,,,
Sell a gun at cost (say $200)
Buy it back as a "trade-in" some time later,,, for $100
That $100 is a "discount" off the next batch of guns, which are a locked in sale.
THEN sell the trade-in's for $330 and make a profit!!
This business model provides long term income,
and the high volume supplies Glock with economic manufacturing across it's product line.
Anything can be produced for a lower cost at higher volume,,, even gold bars,,,
