From the pictures it looks like one side of the slide may have came slightly off track, can you post a closer picture of that slide release lever?
How about letting them figure this out without the comments? Afterwards l tell you all about my revolver that didn't workAnother example of why autos are a passing fad.
Is your slide lock lever jammed or can it move upward at all?
Dang. Next thing I would try is to rap the back of the slide with the palm of your hand. Don't baby it......at this point it cant hurt it.
Cr@p, I'm out of ideas.
Could be something internal has broken.
Ok, thanks - I followed the directions and I got the striker out. Still no joy - the slide is locked back tighter than a tick still.
Now that we know that the striker isn't locking the slide up, that only leaves the barrel and the recoil spring assembly. Looking at your picture it appears that the slide is locked short of all the way back. What happens if you try to push the slide farther to the rear? Try gripping the pistol normally and then try to push the slide farther back by catching the slide on the edge of a table (with the barrel protruding past the edge) and pushing down. I'm thinking that part of the recoil spring assembly broke and is jamming the slide in place. Wish I could do more (actually I wish you lived close so we could go out in my shop and fix it)
