I have 6 M&Ps..........the full size 45 must have the MA compliant, as it is obviously a heavier pull......and my 9 Pro is down around 3 or 3.5....scary for carry, or any sort of stress situation, but it helps deliver groups that amaze. At least they amaze my old ass....
The other 4 are not at all the same........a couple sort of roll with around a 5 to 6 pound pull, another is crisp at a little more, the last is crisp at probably a bit less than 5. That is on is a .45c, maybe the sweetest feeling, shooting .45 I have ever shot.
The heavier, full sized .45 trigger is helped by applying a daub of JB weld to the "stop" on the trigger guard, so that it actually does stop overtravel. It is not my favourite trigger, but it is very easy to shoot well.
And the half circle configuration of the M&Ps trigger feels much better to me than the comma-shaped Glock trigger, whatever the weight.
Not a Glock bash...........if they had the grip ergonomics of the M&Ps, I would not have traded them away for the better feeling, and hence, better shooting Smiths.
In summary, it seems that all striker-fired autos have a bit of inconsistancies in the way they feel when you pull the trigger.
