M&P15 picture thread

Here is my boomstick. I gotta say, I think SW has one of the best looking roll marks. I started life out as a MP15OR. I thought I was done but now after seeing the VTACs, I'm not so sure.

Nice! My 15T's config (pictured middle of last page) is quite similar and works really well for me.

I handled a M&P15TS a while back and was very impressed with its weight - or rather lack thereof. I've been considering assembling a lightweight carbine since. My 15T is going nowhere but having a really light carbine on hand would be nice.

Thanks Deaj. I've been toying with the idea of switching out the Larue handguard for the Vtac of similar length. Also getting rid of the Eotech combo for an Aimpoint or Acog and the Troy VFG cause it's only there for hand position. With those changes it might be able to drop a pound. I've had the rifle for a couple years now and it's incredibly reliable. There has been a couple hiccups with reloads, it's only seen maybe a couple hundred factory rounds.

My modified M&P15T

Not a Smith & Wesson but it is the recipient of a number of donor parts from my M&P15T. My son and I just finished building this rifle for precision shooting:

First (and second) M&P15

I just purchased my first and second M&P15. One is the 15T and the other a 15-22. I've had them for two weeks and have been able to shoot them on two occasions. Lots of fun. I'd like to add a 3x Magnifier to the 15T and move the MBUIS's from the 15T to the 15-22.
