Best place is direct from s&w. they are the cheapest and I got mine in less then two weeks.

Cheapest place I found was MidwayUSA at $26.99. I bought three and shipping was only $4.
Unfortunately, they're out now but you can get on an email alert list. Expected stock date is early February

I ordered one from Smith and Wesson and then found that it was on backorder. I then placed an order for one with Mag44.com, and received the one from Mag44.com within a week. I received the one from S&W in about three weeks. I suspect that the fact that the M&P 22 is made by Walthers in Germany may have something to do with the tight supply. All of the other M&P mags. seem to be plentiful.

I have 3 on backorder from Brownells and it's been 3 months now.

Maybe you should get on the email notification at Midway where I got mine a month or so ago. Midway had them in stock and then sold out again since you've been on Brownell's backorder list. Couldn't hurt.

I recently was able to pick up two 12-round magazines directly from S&W, and another two from Midway USA. It seemed that Midway had a limit of two per customer at the time (about a month ago)...I tried to order an additional two but was prevented from doing so...had to go direct to S&W instead.
