Is it possible to stiffen it up a bit? Going in to the safe position, it feels a little soft to me. I've only had it to the range once and noticed that I push up on it. Not far enough for it to engage, but I do notice it moving.

Next outing I will try and ride it to see if it's something I can get used to and make a habit of.

Thanks

I am not sure about M2.0 version, but I have fixed all my old M&P's by recutting the safety notches with a small file. This requires removing the sear block, so if you feel comfortable doing that, and have a small triangle file, you could do it yourself. Otherwise any competent gunsmith should be able to do it.
If done right the safety will feel like a 1911.

Thank you! The solid feel of a 1911 safety is exactly what I'm after.
