Matched Pair Rimfire/Centerfire vs. conversion unit?

The Stoeger Luger 22s were "iffy" right out of the box. The majority of them were pure ****..the remainder were done properly and worked well. Not particularly accurate..but they went bang when they were supposed to and fed properly. Of the 5 I had..2 were good, 3 were utter junk. I swapped them off back in the 1980s..dont miss any of them in the slightest.

I have a matched pair of rifles, one of the deciding reasons I bought a Kimber .22 Hunter was it's mini Model 70 action with a claw extractor and wing safety.

I have a matched pair of rifles, too. Anschütz 1422 in .22 l.r and an Anschütz 1430/1432 in .22 Hornet. I have just reloaded some .22 Hornet ammo for next week end.

I think I have a great hobby!

And Man, was it a tackdriver with all calibers

The Kart conversion is one of the very best .22 uppers for the 1911, but ended up with a complete Kart in 22 and one in 45. Kart still sells some of the best 45 bbls.
