Mayor Bloomberg questioned about his armed security

Heres a thought......the Police can't do anything until AFTER a crime has been commited against you, your loved ones or your personal property. Of couse Bloomberg wont disarm his personal security detail any more than Feinstein would give up her CC permit or her CCW. What exactly makes their personal safety more important than mine/my families? NOTHING! How do they justify limiting/eliminating the options of us LAW ABIDING responsible gun owners while they themselves benefit from fully armed security details who carry LARGE CAPACITY MAGS in FULLY AUTOMATIC weapons? THEY CANT! Not realistically. Whats good for the goose is good for the gander. If they want to limit me then the only right thing for them to do would be limit themselves too but we all know how that will work out now dont we?

If I had a dime for every time I've heard, "Guns are ok in the 'right' hands, but we need to keep <insert racial, ethnic or religious slur> from having them", I'd buy a water cooled .50 and all of the accessories.

I don't know about you guys but I am quite happy being a peasant. I just want to be left alone as much as possible to make and sell my widgets and try to take care of my family. No help needed or wanted from tyrants from afar.

Thinking of that, the Monty Python folks could have made a great movie with a "Tyrants From Afar" theme. It might have rivaled The Holy Grail! - and they would not have had to be too creative. Just use the idiotic material from Washington that is readily available on a daily basis - and try their best to spin in a little humor. (The humor thing would be the difficult part. )

And another thing... It has gotten to really pain me to write "Washington" when referring to that place. We should demand they change the name. Given what goes on there these days, it is an insult to the memory of the man.
