McDonalds- All the same? Not!

Anybody have any idea what is in a McRib? Never had the guts to try one.

I think it's delicious. I have gone to great lengths to avoid seeing what it is made of though. Because I would probably hurl.

McRibs are good. Not a substitute for real BBQ by any means, but as a fast food offering its not bad.

I used to live near a seasonal McDs, open summer only. I don't think too many of those exist. Granted it was on a boardwalk at the beach, but it always struck me as odd, I never heard of any others like that.

Lake George in upstate NY has one of these part time Mickey Ds. Years back it was year around but for a long time now is good weather only. L.G. is the place that has the very well know Amaricade Motorcycle event that brings many thousands of bikers for a week early in the good weather!

FWIW Lake George is a well known place for summer fun. Best bet about 80% of the other tourists type place are good weather only.

The McRib is processed pork. When McDonalds is selling them they are one of the top pork buyers in the nation.

I refuse to go in McDonalds, I don't think I have ever received what I ordered there.

Now I am a big fan of Chic Fil A, for a number of reasons...

Best burger I ever had in a McD's was in southern New Mexico. Green chili on a quarter-pounder. Yum!

I will go through the drive-thru sometimes for a dipped cone. When I order, I ask for a large dipped cone please. They respond, we only have one size sir. I say yes, make it a large one then.
