This one reminds me of something I saw on the road today.
It looked like a box around 18"x18"x6" with one wheel mounted inside the box, and a guy was riding on top of it doing about 30mph in traffic.
Pretty much looked like the back half of this contraption.
My best guess - from what I could see of it - is that it was some kind of motorized unicycle.
