Midway 22lr backorders recieved

LeadBolt: What quantity did you order?

I backordered a case of MiniMag solids and a case of hollowpoints on 11/19 and 11/21 respectively. They haven't shipped.

I wonder if they're breaking up cases for smaller orders?

I ordered a brick of HP's and a brick of solids. Based upon what you said above, it would seem as if they are filling the smaller orders first.

Hmm. I haven't seen any way to get on a backorder list for ammo...

Midway opened up back orders at the end of 2013 for a short while. I can only imaging they were overrun with demand. Then they shut them off after some of us got under the wire. I expect they will honor the backorders - eventually.

This thread reminded me that I have a backorder at Midway for 2 1000rd boxes of M22's. Ordered on 1/21/2014. Still shows on backorder.

Same here, but 2 separate orders, 12/22/13 & 1/20/14. Have not heard anything. I even have a case of Win/555 on back order with Brownell's since Jan 2013. That's 19 months. LOL Wonder if it will ever be filled :)

I just received a 1000 round box of m22's, 500 mini mags, and a brick of thunderbolt from November backorders, so they are still filling backorders, and honoring the 2013 price, thumbs up for Midway on that!

3333 Winchester and 5000 CCI Minimags ordered on 1/20. Still listed as backordered. Getting closer since a 12/12 order shipped.

Got a FB post about the "great Dick's ammo-fest" and managed to get two 2,000 round boxes of M22 before they ran out. Finally get to try it in my 15-22 tomorrow.

Perhaps this is a bit off-topic from the OP's post, but I figure it's of interest to those of us with backorders at Midway. I don't intend this post to start love/hate discussion about Midway, so please consider it an "info only" post.

I had some difficulty updating my credit card info on their website, so I called customer service. While on the phone, I asked about their policy of cancelling backorders after a year. I recalled some discussion on the forum about this in early 2014. The customer rep said, that policy was discontinued as it created lots of customer dissatisfaction. (imagine that!)

After the call, I checked the website and found the 365 day cancellation policy was still there. So, I wrote to customer service and quickly received the following:

Thank you for your recent email in regards to our backorder policy. I apologize the web still states that your backorder will be cancelled after 365 days. We have updated and improved out backorder policy. We no longer cancel the backorders after 365 days. Our policy also states if you have multiple backorder items on one invoice, we will wait 90 days before releasing the first item that comes in stock to save our customers cost on shipping.

Once again, let's not start love/hate discussions about Midway. I'm just happy they seem to have listened to us and thought you folks would want to know.

Krogen

Ordered a case of 5,000 rounds on Nov. 11th 2013. Still waiting. Looks like some orders are starting to come in for some folks though...

I have a bucket of Golden Bullets from an order (back ordered) placed in December 2013.

I waited 14 months from placement of order for 5,000 rds Aguilla Std velocity from CMP but I did get it.

I would still like to receive the GB's because they work best in my Advantage Arms conversion that I use on my Rock island 9mm Tactical and my Ruger SR1911 .45 cal

CCI minimags ordered 10/13 just shipped

My order from 10/13/13 for minimags was canceled back in January 2014 because my billing address was New York, and in 2014 the no mail order of ammunition went into effect. Only annoying thing was I had received an email that my order may be in jeopardy about 10 days prior to the cancellation, I called and they told me there was no problem since the shipping address was Georgia. 10 days later when it was canceled I called again, and they explained that the computer had just automatically canceled since NY was listed on the order for billing address. I had to change my account with them to reflect billing address of GA, and they retook the order 1/9/14 so I'm still in backorder status.

Can't say I blame them wanting nothing to do with NY laws, just wish they had allowed me to keep my old order so I would have some minimags now!

I had a bunch of orders in 10-13. apparently some people get their backorders and some don't. just another arrow in the smiling larry target from my perspective.

That's one way to have more happy customers. Fill 10 small orders instead of one big order and you have 10x the number of happy customers to fill out a survey. Absolutely not saying it's right...but it could be big company policy.

I have backorders from Jan for:
Bucket of 1400 Rem
10x333 Win
100x40 AE
100x50 Win Super-X

Haven't seen any ship. As long as the 1-year cancellation policy is gone, as mentioned above, I'll deal with it.

No kidding. The least you could've done would be to resell it to one of us at your cost plus shipping. :D
