dubya
Mazda (I still say it rhymes with casbah)
san dwich (rather than sanwich)

Around these parts a Jaguar car is a "Jagwire" and it's made of "still" not steel.

Funky regional dialect aside, we can pronounce, Monongahela Youghiogheny, Kiskiminetas, Punxsutawney, Connoquenessing, Quemahoning, Tunungwant, Tidioutte, Toinesta and Conemaugh!

In Wyoming:

Opal is not pronounced as the stone is.

Dubois is not pronounced as it would be in France.

Popo Agie rhymes with ambrosia.

A friend-- Tars for tires, crick for creek and nucleeer for nuclear. Another friend-- Warentry for warranty.

Another well used around here, Leeapold scope.

I bet 2 out of three Texans pronounce it wrong like that.
I wasn't sure myself, so I wrote the company about 30 years ago and they said LOOPOLD. :D

My mom was from MN and I used to give her a hard time because she said things funny. She used to say "beg" instead of bag (like Erich pointed out), "pin" instead of pen (this caused a lot of confusion when she would ask for a "pin" and I never knew if she meant a sewing pin or writing instrument), "ruff" instead of roof, "Or-a-gone" instead of Oregon. She eventually changed the way she said things. It only took living in CA for 30+ years and maybe living in England too.

One word I often hear mispronounced even by highly educated people is the word library. They forget the first "r" and pronounce it "lie-berry".

I myself have to slow down and concentrate when I say "aluminum" and "phenomenon" otherwise they come out funny. I don't know why but I get tongue tied!
