Only thing bad about Missouri Bullet Co. I have to pay sales tax.

I bought 3K of thier .32 cal RNFP, they shoot very well. I have 5K left of .38 125swc from another MO. bullet co. but after they are gone
I will using MBC for all my lead. Our club may need to make a phone call to check on club prices

I made my first purchase from them recently. I bought 1000 158 grain LSWC for .38 Special loads. I really like the bullets, well made, easy to load, accurate in my revolvers, and cleaning was a breeze as compared to my other experiences with lead bullets. I think they may have something with the "hardness optimized" thing.

As soon as the tax refund comes in I plan to be ordering between 3 and 4 thousand bullets in various calibers.

I have gotten great service and prices from my favorite caster too!

It's me in my garage!

Glad to hear that Missouri Bullet Co. is a stand-up kind of supplier.

We sure need more in this day and age!

Keep up the good work.

I have a daughter in SW Missouri. She is going to school just south of Joplin. Small world!

I've shot a lot of Missouri Bullet Co. lead and have no complaints. Good product, good price, fast shipping. I just got a few thousand from these guys http://www.bulletworks.com/ though, and I think they're a little better. The 40cal 175lswc is really a nice bullet. No credit cards, paypal or prepayment. You order on the phone, they ship immediately, and you pay the enclosed invoice when the bullets arrive. It's like going back in time!

When I first started buying lead over the internet, I tried several different sources and Missouri Bullets was one of them. At that time maybe one in four orders was from them. Then….one in 3 and ……now only them.

My only wish would be if they had a 240 grain Keith bullet ……hint hint.

Thanks to everyone for the info on Missouri Bullets!!
I just placed my first order for 1500 rounds ..

Steve

I received my first order for 1500 bullets today, they look very good and only took 2 days to get here .. great service! ... I ordered another 1000 after I saw the quality and the impressive 2 day shipping ...
Thanks again to the forum members for the web link for Missouri Bullets.

We've ordered Magma's 240 grain .430 SWC Keith-style bullet moulds. Don't know how long before we get them, but I suspect that given their backlog, at least a month. But we'll get them eventually and will have that bullet. We're probably going to call it the ".44 Elmer's Own" in deference to the Great One.

Brad

Do the same thing with the Keith .45 Colt bullet. Wink Another hint Big Grin

"Dyin' ain't much of a livin' boy"-The Outlaw Josey Wales

We already have it. We call it the "Cowboy #9". 250 grain (nominal) SWC. Available from our website.

Brad

I saw those. I was referring to Lyman mold 452424

The one you have posted there is a bevel base, and several of my .45's won't shoot any bevel based design worth a hoot. A couple will though.

Well, after reading of the experiences of others here I placed an order Tuesday for some Cowboy #1 loads from Missouri Bullet. They arrived in the mail today!!! Two days from ordering them to having them! Outstanding service!! Now all I have to do is find the time to do some reloading.

Well, since you were a new customer, we had to make you serve a 1-day probationary period.

:-)

I see that you are retired USAF, so you should email us and we will explain the discount program we have for retired military folks.

Best,

Brad

Hi guys. I was impressed after reading this so I put in a order too. The service was great, order shiped the next day. Three days later they were here. They are in great shape, and the quality is great too. Haven't loaded any of them yet but it won't be long. The blue dot powder I have and cold weather has me a little gun shy.

Sorry boys, but I just went to the Missouri Bullets web site. They may have good customer service, but they DON'T carry Keith bullets! Companies that call a bevel-base semi-wadcutter a "Keith Bullet" should be sued by the Keith estate for putting Elmer's name on an inferior product. Missouri Bullets, like other similar companies, sell these bevel base Keith-wannabes because they can buy big gang moulds that drop these bullets like water through a hose, which maximizes their profits. I'll NEVER use a bevel base bullet in one of my guns again! Bevel-base bullets are a creation of the devil that allow hot gasses to get between the bullet base and your bore. This melts the edges and deposits lead in your bore. This is probably why Missouri Bullets also sells the Lewis Lead Remover. If you shoot their bullets, you're going to need it! I can't tell from their photos what kind of lube they use, but it looks like that stuff with the consistency of vulcanized rubber. If lube isn't soft, it doesn't work. With 40 years of experience reloading, I know what the heck I'm talking about.

If you want REAL Keith bullets, go to LEADHEADS bullets: http://www.proshootpro.com
I've bought bullets from this guy for several years. He can size them to any size the mould allows, and you won't need a Lewis Lead remover to clean the crap out of your gun. Leadheads also sells LBT style bullets in both plain base and gascheck form.

I hate to rain on your parade, but this is my opinion. If you like the product Missouri bullets produces, have at 'em, but realize there is better stuff out there.

I shoot Leadhead 270wfn 44's. Great bullets. But, bevel base bullets load much faster in my progressive press. Also, MBC bullets only cost a fraction of Leadhead prices. All in all, two out of three ain't bad.

For the price difference, I'll take the Missouri Bullets. It doesn't take that long to get the lead cleaned out.
