Hi guys. I'm sure I've posted here before, but according to the site this is my first time. Anywho, here goes..

I recently saw a very nice looking 25-9 in 45 Long Colt in a local gun store with a rep for having high prices. They are asking $799 for just the gun with no box or tools. I looked it over and aside from the ring around the cylinder, the bluing and grips look perfect.

Is the $799 price OK or way too much? Thanks in advance.

A little high, IMHO.

I'm buying a 25-5 ANIB for $695. I'm being allowed to make payments. I feel this price is very good, not great. If your gun is excellent, it's probably just a little high, IMHO. Central Oregon seems to have good gun prices right now.

I'm going to be putting my 25-9 in the the classifieds here shortly. It is like new in the box etc. I am going to put $695 on it, if that is any guide.

What are your 25-9 barrel lengths? Cylinder type and finish?

I have been looking at different Model 25's over the last month or so. I am looking for a good deal on one. I have seen them anywhere from $550 to $800. IMO I would not pay a dime over $600 for used one. I can buy a brand new one for right at $800. I can get the new one in blue or nickel. The blue model is a little under $800. So there is no way I would pay that price for a used revolver. I think people put too much emphasis on this or that feature. But if they want to pay more money, then it is there money. I will not pay that premium. Tom.

Thanks for the help guys. The one I'm looking at has a 6" barrell, but I probably wont be getting it since I'm pretty sure they wont budge on the price.
