model 36 thread size

Hi
can anyone tell me what the tap and die size would be for the ejector, and ejector rod? Have a model 36 that someone messed up the threads need to clean up and chase the threads

As near as I can measure, it would be a .182-64 Left Hand. That would likely be a custom made size. I was able to find #10-64 Right Hand, which would be .190-64, but that's as close as I could get.

If the threads are that bad sending it to S&W for a fix might be a better idea than a DIY.
