The steel sights on my gun hold the point of impact when I place them back in the dovetail. The adjustment screws are untouched. Look down at your Keng sight. There's a tiny Allen screw. Underneath it is a small, tightly-coiled spting that exerts pressure upward to elevate the sight. I think Kend's shop sells the BME along with other handy items. I chse to deal with him, another son of the South. He's good people, if he's still around. I got my 41's and 52's mount and with my failing vision, I never remove the optics. My 41 came with a 7" bbl that was already drilled and tapped. A $2.00 Weaver rail sits atop it. I keep a Bushnell Thophy on it. The smaller optics of Burris, et al, are handier to carry.
