Model 629 RB conversion grips

I recently aquired a 4" 629 Mountain gun with rubber Pachmayer grips but want wood targets.

The classic diamond coke grips from the 50's and 60's are my favorite but its a roundbutt gun.

S&W makes the wood RB to SB target conversion grips pictured below for about $70 bucks .
Does anyone have a picture of these on a gun they can share as the colors are a bit grey and washed out..
maybe its the web pic?

I just put a set of 1980's cutout targets on it for comparison to the Model 66 (below it).

Maybe someone else makes something similar that i can add medallions to?

I have those grips on a 8.375" 629 they look and feel great ,nicely figured walnut too. That pic you have is awful it doesn't do them justice . One thing I should mention I tried them on a 4" 629 and did not like the look at all,way to big and long for the 4" gun.Unfortunately I can't post pic's hope this helps

May I ask if they are longer than the factory N frame grips I have on it in the picture?
The picture is from the S&W site,
The checkering looks lower than normal almost like they copied the old Model 29 cokes pattern.

You actually scared me into hesitating on buying a set.

yes they are longer,I think because they're round to square conversion grips they left some extra wood at the bottom of the stocks if I ever get a day off I'll dig them out and take some measurements for you
