Model 657

Hello everyone.
This is my first post. I purchased an S&W model 657 this past Saturday at our local Gun Show. The caliber is 41 Rem Mag. I have been searching for one for a while. It is in very fine condition. I consider myself lucky to have found it. I would appreciate knowing the ship date for my newly acquired revolver.
The serial number is AJZ3012. I will be shipping it to the Smith & Wesson Performance Center® Gunsmithing Services for their Master Revolver Action Package service. I have had that service done on several other N-Frames; and have been very satisfied with the results.
Thank you for any help you can provide regarding the ship date for my "new" revolver.

According to "the book", the 657 was introduced in 1986. Mine also numbers in the 1985 range, which makes sense. They likely made them up in solid numbers then introduced the 657 in the Jan 1986 SHOT Show.

I have a nice no-dash for sale, no box but in superb condition, if anyone is in the market near Charleston SC?
Great, accurate gun...but I am a 44 Magnum guy and just do not want to set up to handload yet another caliber. PM with questions.
