Model 908

908 here 908 there. Where are they?

I looked on GunBroker it says no such thang. I ask my gun store guy whom is a dist. and he says...Hmmmmmm what was that number again? All I can say is the 39 lives on.
..

There were 3 of them for sale on Texas Gun Trader 2 weeks ago.

qualified CHL with mine. now loaded with black talons. I don't leave home without it.

Oh no, those evil Black Talons!!!! I still wish I had some in 9mm.

The 908 is a quality handgun and is undervalued even now in my opinion. I have had two and in fits of stupidity traded or sold them. Every component is replaceable by parts dedicated to the 3913. I carry a 3913 for my CCW handgun now. If I still owned a 908, I would be carrying it. ............. Big Cholla

Although I am not familiar with the 908, being primarily a revolver guy, but from the pictures see, and the description, it doesn't seem much different than my 469. But the 469 is a double stack 12 rd mag, and not what I would call a "thin" handgun. I really like mine, and it has been 100% reliable and one of the more accurate semi-auto's that I own.

I previously had a 469, which was my first S&W auto. I was impressed with it's reliability and accuracy, but was a little leary because it was a 2nd gen and not covered by S&W's lifetime warranty if something were to happen (frame crack or something else major). After I traded it away I picked up a 908 and am very happy with it. Because it's a single stack, it's much much thinner than the 469. I've found it very easy to carry.

One of my favorites, just wish the wife didn't like it so much. I'll just keep on the lookout for a 908s for me.

I know where a NIB S&W #908s is (or was, two weeks ago). I believe it was priced around $475.00, holler at me if you are still interested in one.

Did you say "Black Talon" 9 MM

Here you go JR...This is what all my magazines are loaded with!
