Money Bomb the NRA on 03/24/18

I think that this is a great idea and have increased my Life membership level twice in the last 12 months.

I have a thought to go with this idea. Instead of merely sending the NRA $25 thereby increasing their clout from their existing 5 million members, why not use that $25 to sponsor a new member. Your child, your grand child, someone from your gun club.

If each of the existing 5 million members sponsored a new member with their $25 donation, the NRA would grow to 10 million over night.

What better way to combat the negative publicity that we will receive on 3/24 than by letting the NRA announce that their ranks doubled that week.

I'm signing up my 4 grandsons.

PS: Thought about this overnight. Wonder if the NRA would accept my sponsorship membership for Nancy Pelosi????????????

Looks like the boycott bots have zeroed in on the NRA. So far Enterprise (auto rentals) and Omaha Bank (NRA Visa card) have shown their cowardice and have pulled out. Others will follow.

I don't know about you but I sure didn't join the NRA for the benefit list but boycotts can work both ways and I intend to have my voice heard by these cowards.

... If you hate guns and the NRA and freedom and other American stuff, fine, move on, there's nothing for you here. Go start your own thread about all the guns we don't need. ,....
I really think the NRA helps, but zero tolerance is what put hundreds of thousands of people in jail for pot.

I am a member, but I think the NRA and zero tolerance is incorrect.

We DO need:
Proper background checks
More mental health dollars
Safe Rooms in schools - locked doors, security, cameras, metal detectors, don't like it, then home school

I just added a donation when I finished the tag poll. I am also going to make an additional $25 donation tomorrow as well as a $25 donation to GOA. I'd like to throw out a challenge to all, to also send a donation to the GOA. Two big dogs in this fight is better than one.

As good as the "Money Bomb" idea is, THIS one is even better. I've already signed up one of my boys, I think I'll sign up the other one - and maybe my wife too! Seems like a hell of a great way to spend fifty bucks!

I've been a loyal Enterprise customer pretty much my entire career, but I've rented my last car from them - and intend to tell them so. Symantec and Omaha Bank aren't businesses I've ever patronized, but as long as they are against the NRA I never will either....

EDIT: Looks like the list of companies joining the boycott of the NRA is growing

If you do business with any of them, now might be the time to stop and to let them know why....
