Took the Bodyguard and 9c to the range. Been shooting the Bodyguard for awhile, 1800 rds. Still 2 ftf issues in 18 rds., this time. Has been back to mama once for same issue. Love the thing but it's not dependable. Hadn't shot 9c in a year or so, feels like a hair trigger in comparison. Just felt dangerous! If I get another pistol, it will probably be a Glock 17 with a New York trigger and mag safety. No lie. I'm old school, but the average Joe, if like me, would be better off. I really still can't wrap my mind around the concept of putting a safety on the same thing that you fire it with. I'm not adept enough to install another trigger in the 9c. Good day all

Before you buy another gun get an Apex Duty/Carry kit. that's what I have in my 9c and I really like it. Has about a 6.5# trigger pull but it's very smooth.

My Shield 9MM has a (measured) factory 7 lb. trigger that I have no plans to change. Perfect for the range or self defense.

I've been shooting revolvers since I was a kid back in the 70's. Tried semi auto's for a short period and I just can't do it. They feel like a 1 pound trigger to me in comparison to revolvers heavier trigger pull. I must have developed a lot of hand strength over the years. lol.

Do you have any revolvers? Give those a go!

Invest in Apex DCAEK. Money well spent & you'll really like the improvements!

I had FTF in my 9c the first time out, 4 in 100.
Spray cleaned the FP and never had an issue again.
Did the APEX Polymer trigger and FSS and think it's the bee's knee's, actually. Not too light at all for me, even with the heavy spring.
YMMV

What kind of ammo are you using in the Bodyguard? Mine doesn't like the flat point WWB, Federal feeds just fine. Does it feed HP ammo well?

BG380 early model

I bought a BG380 when they first came out with the built in laser. It has trouble with truncated rounds like WWB. I bought a case of Hydra Shok and couple hundred mixed Silvertips and XTP and had no malfunctions of any kind. I only shoot HP in it now and carry it with confidence.

Just saying....
