Music You Enjoy

A while back - I walked into a Cowboy Bar up near Longmont, CO.
Went to the bar and ordered a beer.
Looked up at the Bandstand.
OMG! It was a tall slim Black Guy wearing Western Clothes.
And he was bending those Guitar Strings.
That was the first that I was aware of Gatemouth Brown.
Talked to him during a break, he told me he came out of the tail end of the Texas Big Band Jazz players. Charlie Christian, T Bone Walker, etc.
Next time I saw him he opened for Roy Clark in Vegas.
Next I saw him at nearby Madrid, NM where he overheated, dropped his Nitro Pills, and didn’t play.
Here is Gatemouth Brown with his Buddy Roy Clark.
