My 70 year old uncle had a heart attack

I would like to ask for your prayers for my uncle. He is a Vietnam vet and a 2nd amendment gun guy. I just found out today via Facebook that my uncle Bob had a massive heart attack on 1/2/2013. He was claimed medically dead for 10 min while trying to be revived in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. As of an hour ago while talking to my dad on the phone he has had 5 stints placed and two more scheduled and is in CCU. I was told that he is remembering the past and thinks he has to get out of the bed and go to work on the farm and is asking my dad where the tractor and backhoe are. They had to restrain him in the bed with a nylon mesh because he is trying to get up and go to work. The man is 70 years old and 6 feet 7 inches tall. I am a little upset because he is my favorite uncle on my dad's side and this happened days a go and I just now found out. Why did not one call me, and why of all places did I have to find out on Facebook while chatting to my cousin/his daughter? Thank you for your prayers and support. I want to go and see him if I can. I am not sure we have the extra money to do it right now as money is tight. This will be a 300 mile round trip. Thanks for your prayers. I just looked and bills are paid but the extra is not there

... and why of all places did I have to find out on Facebook while chatting to my cousin/his daughter?

I do not do Facebook and do not understand how it works so I am just speculating but I think it is so pervasive, particularly among young people, that those who use it just assume that everyone is sitting around glued to that nonsense and reading everything everyone else writes. Maybe that is the reason you were not informed directly? In any case, sorry to hear about your uncle. I hope he recovers fully and will include him in my next prayer.

Thank you all for the prayers and support. I am trying to come up with the $70 bus ticket to get there and back. We have one car and my wife needs it to get to the store and get out daughter to and from Pre-K school. That leaves me with the Greyhound bus. I will keep trying somehow because I want to go see my uncle in the hospital. I would be staying at dad's house. My dad is 68 and his eyes are starting to get worse because of maculor degeneration and my mom lived 4 hours away so she can not come get me and take me, argh. LOL I am not gonna give up hope, I will keep trying to go and see my uncle.
