My first N Frame, what was yours?

This was my first N-frame, a 27-2. It was the gun that ignited my obsession.

My first N frame was a M27-5 with a 3 1/2" bbl, followed by three 625s, and then a Model of 1917. It's a nice mix of Smiths. Shooters every one of them!

Model 28 no dash, 6" Bought on Christmas Day 2011. !960, # S2011xx.
She is a real clean Smith! Oh by the way, shoots great too! Bob

Mine is my 625MG 45LC, had it mach for moon clips and it has been a great romance. I will never sell it.

A 27-7. Performance Center gun with 6.5 barrel and eight round cylinder.

Mine is this 28-2. Carried on duty until my dept. switched to Semi Auto's in 1985. Still my favorite shooter and gets a regular workout.

This 627-0 was my first and only N-frame. Hopefully not my last. Sorry for the bad cell phone pic.

My first N-frame was also my first S&W. An S-prefix 28-2 6" that I
bought new in Oct of 1966. I still have it and hope to never have to
part with it.

A 629-6 that I bought new about five years ago. Here it is with some ebony Kuracs.

There have been many N-frames since then, most of them prewar or early postwar. I just really like the non-model-marked guns from before 1957. (But I made exceptions for a longnose Model 57 and two Performance Center 627s.)

My 1st for several things

First brand new gun.
First S&W
First 44 magnum (so first N-frame)
29-3 that started out as a 6"...I've whittled on it some;)

My first was a 6" Blue model 27. I traded it for something else because it would not shoot as good as my 6" Python.

My first N frame

My first N frame was a Pre Model 27, with a 3.5 barrel. Shipped in 1955 I purchased her in 1989 shortly after I turned 21 (my first handgun). I still have and shoot her often, shes not very pretty but I will keep her, shes a great shooter!
