My new 5906 custom grips....

....well kinda....
I found a couple 5906 grips on the Bay and sent them up to a fella just an hour up the road from me to have them "water transfer printed"...we've all seen this process in car interiors when they paint plastic trim to look like wood...
I am very VERY pleased with the way these turned out.....

This guy isn't home from his day job yet...he does this on the side....so I don't know how much I owe him yet....I hope to know later tonight...
I was so tickled with them, I couldn't wait to show all ya'llz...
Oh, and BTW.....he did two sets for me.....I'll be selling the second set here a little later when I find out how much they cost me....

Hey that really does look nice. I had limbs for a take down recurve bow done that way and never gave a thought to having my Gen 3 grips done. Thanks for the thought!!

I picked up two pair at my LGS for under $5 each and had one pair 'hydroprinted' in Mahogany by Hydrographic Printing by Hydro Print Services.
All total I have less than $50 in them. I like that lighter wood. Might have to have one of my remaining sets done.
