A few weeks ago I asked if 325.00 was reasonable for a slightly worn model 19-5 made in 1983. I got some encouraging responses, so I picked it up. I was able to talk him down to 300.00. I also picked up a set of correct magna's from Guns America and finally took some pictures. She has some cosmetic issues, so she's definitely a shooter, but I'm happy with it.

That gun looks great! I really can't see any cosmetic issues with it at all, save for the turn line, but big deal. You got a super deal! I've always said that that is one gun that I could trade my Model 13 three inch for, but I haven't seen one locally lately that someone didn't want a ridiculous price for. Congrats!

Most of us can barely find FUNCTIONAL S&Ws for $300 much less a
M19 2 1/2"
.

Nice buy!

Although at that price, "theft" also comes to mind. That would easily be a carry gun for a lot of us, I think. Congrats on the find, and enjoy!

That S&W looks great!!! I don't see any issues at all for a used blued revolver and if they are on it you'd have to point them out. EXCELLENT deal on the best model ever to leave the Taxachusetts factory IMO.

Watch out. Them snubs are addicting. Especially K frame like yours.

Congrats on a great SD revolver.

RB, that' a beautiful M-19 and it sounds like you got a super deal...................but it is those grips that really complete the package. Nice grain and no blemishes that I can see.

Thanks for sharing.

Don

Nice gun and a great deal! It would sell easily for $550 in a shop around here.

I have 2 nickel snubby 19's but not a blued one. My two nickels are mint and yours looks like it would not be a bad addition. Hint Hint lol. If you ever decide to get your money back + , let me know. Congrats, Treat it well and enjoy. I'm sure you will.

Looks better than the one I carry. I paid $365 for it about 2 years ago.

You did very well.

What a beautiful gun and what an amazing deal! I would love to be able to find a snubbie M-19 and any M19 for that price.
