My (new to me) 686-4

Hey guys. I introduced myself in the new member thread about a month ago. My permit finally came and I went and picked up my new 686. Here are some pictures. They were taken with a cell phone so sorry about the quality.

Congratulations! The -4 is considered by many to be the best of the 686 bunch, but many of us also dump the Hogue grips ASAP.

Congrats! The PowerPort model might appreciate more quickly than a standard 6" 686 because they discontinued that feature several years ago. I bought an unfired 686-3 PowerPort for that reason and just to have something different.

I have several other 686s to shoot so I haven't shot this one and don't plan to.

Congrats, the 686 is a magnificent gun. Shoots 38s so smooth, and heavy magnum loads as well. Great woods gun
