When I gave it to my B-I-L for Christmas the other day I told him I'm absolutely sure we're giving him something no one else on earth has at the moment. Since he's not really a gun guy and his 686 is his first handgun, I made him a holster that suits his tastes more than the usual cowboy stuff I make. He likes horror and action movies so this image seemed right for him. Here's his gun in it's new home. I don't have an L-Frame so just used my 4" Python as a model but shortened the pattern an inch. It fits perfect. He love's shooting this thing, btw.

thats different, how did you apply the image?
I found the Joker image online, printed it out, then reversed it. I cut out the leather and put it over the drawing. Then I cut out the face and traced where the face and eyes should go. After that I freehand painted the dye. The huge black areas were with a dauber.

Snubbyfan, it's hand stitched and a little sloppy on the back.

nice work ,pretty creative .cool that you made him something he will like instead of what you think he "should" like.
this project planted some seeds in my brain, not very fertile soil but i think something will come up.thanks.
