anyone elses SBR lever wobbly when installed? I just thought it was the way it was, but just wanted to know. Mine is like super wobbly and loose. I used some paper to fill the empty space and it helped a little but not much. I was thinking of using modeling clay or something instead.

The lever works, it just feels loose and wiggles around

1 - make sure the lever fits properly around the paddle.
2 - put some Blue LocTite on the paddle before putting the parts together.

This should solve the problem.

Folks, also know that there is considerable slack in the bolt latch release itself. Much of your movement is coming from there. It is not really noticeable without the SBR, but the long lever magnifies it considerably.

That's what I was thought too so I tried holding the catch while wiggling the lever. The lever still has a lot of play and it is screwed in tight.

As I said previously, a little Blue LocTite on the paddle will stop it.

:D, besides there is only one screw and I would not want to try getting it loose if it were Blue LocTite'd. On that screw, nothing stronger than Pink or Purple.

The SBR only feels loose when U don't need to use it. When U need to release the bolt it is snug/firm. Once U have released the SBR it feels loose. Like most things when released it moves some. Shimming the side to side in movement in the mechanism with the bolt released needs a wider paddle. Which gives opportunity for the aftermarket to make/offer.

I use blue lock-tite on all screws on my 15-22 and my ARs and it's been a non-issue taking them back out when needed......just avoid using the red lock-tite, it requires flame to remove.
