Several years ago I saw a Sigma in a gunshop that had a black frame and a blackened stainless slide (see photo below). I thought it was sweet but figured it was a Sigma and I would easily be able to pick one up down the road.

Well, I can't find one anywhere. I know S&W makes a .22A with this finish on the slide.

I vaguely remember the gunshop saying it was a distrubutor exclusive. Does anyone have info on this model Sigma such as

When was it made and it what quantity
what was the manuf./product number
Is it possible to still find them

I remember seeing a Sigma model that was called the "Allied Forces" model. It had a black slide. I've seen some around in the past year or two, but not recently. I do remember shops were asking a little more for them then standard models.

Here you go, found one for sale a few weeks ago in 9mm. I cannot offer specific but they are rare and are definitely post-1999 production guns as they have the "enhanced" upgrades.

Yankee Artifacts

Scroll down about half way.
