Hey guys I just took my 629 apart for a bead blast job, but I really would like to know what I should and shouldn't blast. Can I get inside the area where the cylinder goes? I know I need to cover the muzzle and chamber, but what else? I assume I need to protect the cyclinders correct?

Please help!! Thanks

bead blast

when you say "bead blast" I assume you will be using glass beads(?) you can blast the frame area where the cylinder goes
and yes you must protect the chambers in the cylinder.
Also (I got this tip from John Harrison) be sure the media hasn't been used on carbon steel guns as there can be small bits of the carbon steel which can embed on your stainless and rust spots will appear
