Just saw the trailer a few days ago for a new Netflix movie The Highwaymen. It tells the story of the hunt for Bonnie & Clyde from the perspective of Texas Ranger Frank Hamer. Looks interesting!

There has been a lot written about Frank Hamer and it's been mentioned on this forum before, but the very best book on Hamer is John Boessenecker's TEXAS RANGER, published about three years ago. Lots of interesting details about many things, including, of course, Bonnie and Clyde.
