Was at LGS yesterday & saw this model 37 & had to go back today & pick it up. Could not let it sit in the store anymore a Christmas present to myself. Based on serial # J695xxx it was producded in the first 1/2 of 1979. Has the Bianchi Gun leather grips which will be going as soon as I find new ones. Looking for either walnut S&W or a nice faux pearl in square butt.
