We just picked this up this morning for the wife. I'm very impressed with the trigger pull in DA and SA. The lockup is rock solid. Me and the wife couldn't be happier going with the S&W. This is her revolver, and she eventually will CCW with it. It fits her hand like a glove, and the bead blast finish is superb. I've got a couple of Rugers, one being the SR9C and the mini 14, and I love them, but as far as revolvers go, the Smith edges it out with the lock up and the grip frame on the Smith vs the tang grip on the SP101. Eveything about the Smith says QUALITY!

Ladysmiths are some of the nicer guns SW has made. Imagine how many they would sell if they had a macho version.

Great looking revolver.

Are the Village People in town this week?:D

LOL. Yea, I guess I'd feel kinda wimpy if I carried a pistol that said Ladysmith! Besides the finish, wood grips, and possibly a lighter spring(from what I've gathered), it's just a model 60. But for the wifey, it's perfect. I wonder if that matte finish will be rubbed off eventually with a holster? That might be caveat.

Great looking little revolver and nice photography! It's the exact version that I have on my want list for later this year. It's for my feminine side ... ;) Being very anal about turn-rings - I've noticed that SW does a good job at minimizing the ring on the LS's. I know, it will get a turn-ring soon - but at $650-ish - I want to put the dang ring on it!!

LOL thanks, I agree it's one sweet revolver. Yea, they're pricey, but you just don't see many of them around. Makes you wonder if they'll ever quit making that version of the 60.
