As a former police officer (in the dark ages), we carried the M&P-in .38 and later M&P Model 66 .357 Magnum in Stainless. As we retired from our agency, (ended by the Panama Canal Treaties of 1977) we attempted to, but were denied, purchase of our carry revolvers. At any rate, my life depended on Smith & Wesson for many years, in the greatest job in the former Panama CANAL ZONE.
I look forward to adding the new M&P-9 Pro Series C.O.R.E. 5" model with extended 3 dot sights this week.

Welcome from Wisconsin, Jim! I don't think you'll be disappointed with anything S&W in general & M&P specifically.

Welcome from Texas JimCPZRet. Great forum for all things S&W, have fun, learn lots, share what you know.

Would love to hear some stories from your time in Panama.
