Hey all iam a proud parent of a new M&P 15 22. Had the gun about a week now with about 500 rounds through it and have been very with the overall performance and have had only one ftf using CCI mini mags. Iam currently working on a barrel shroud for it with the help of one my machinist buddies, pics to come soon as my cell-phone touch pad is very unuseable at the moment.

Make sure one end of that shroud is open to the atmosphere.

First and foremost, Welcome !!! You are now an owner of one of the COOLEST plinkers on the market. I just bought mine 2 months ago and I have new parts/accessories coming in every week . If you don't suffer from any other addictions, you'll have one soon . You may even need an intervention (I think my wife's planning mine now) LOL....I'm only joking about that part but this rifle is VERY ADDICTING.

Be sure to look in the classifieds section as there are some great machinists who make parts specifically for the 15-22. As a matter of fact, I purchased my barrel shroud from Tacticool22. I purchased the long barrel shroud and it looks great on my rifle and was well crafted .

I went through 500 rounds of CCI Blazer's in under 20 minutes yesterday with zero failures... feed 'em what they like and they'll spit 'em downrange all day long
