New Reloader: Instead of Unique?

4.0 grains of 231 is my standard .38 Special load with the same bullet from Missouri.
Shoots well in a variety of revolvers.
Only way to be sure in yours is to try it out.

My favorite load as well.

re: 14-3

When I did a thorough cleaning last night I discovered streaks of lead inside the cylinders and some in the forcing cone (or whatever the correct term is for the cylinder end of the barrel).

I don't like that.

And it was too dadgum hard to remove. (I used everything I had except my Lewis kit.)

Is that what I should expect every time I shoot 4.1 Win231 under 158gr Missouri SWC?

There was very little leading in the barrel, just a bit in the forcing cone area.

I measured the OD and OAL of the Missouri bullets before I loaded them, and they were all withing published specs.

What about my question regarding the leading in the cylinder mouths?
