I tried to resist….
Really, I did.
As I've accumulated a few guns over the last year, or so, I've told myself that I would be disciplined, and only buy guns in .44cal. I didn't want guns of too many calibers in the safe, cuz that would just mean more different kinds of ammo, more reloading stuff, etc. I'm sure y'all know what I mean.
But then a gun comes along that makes that plan change…
This gun did that for me.
It's a 3-1/2" pre-27 that Roy says shipped in 1953. I dunno why, but this gun just called to me. I really like it!! Maybe it's because it's so similar to the pre-24 4" gun I have, which I feel the same way about.
Any of you know this feeling? Yeah, I know…..
A couple of pictures for you. The pre-24 made an appearance too!
