I thought i was here years ago and hadn't visited or shot my guns for a while but i am back. I liked my Sigma so much i bought my wife one. I did do a spring conversion on both of them and really like how they shoot. I did the CCW class a couple of months ago before i put in the spring and it was hard to shoot. The instructor shot it and said it was smooth but a heavy trigger. I had bought the spring kits years ago but never put them in because i wasn't shooting them as ammo was expensive or non existent. But now i shoot the Federal aluminum case and can't be happier. The gun shoots great and the ammo is perfect. It is my CCW carry gun both on my hip and with a shoulder holster. Taking my wife shooting tomorrow so she can have some target time before her class...Bob

Great to see you back. I am an occasional viewer in this forum, with a SD9 that I like a lot. It is good to hear that yours eats Federal aluminum ammo and that your wife enjoys shooting the gun.
As for CCW, the SD may be a better carry gun than a lot of more expensive striker-fired pistols. First, it is relatively light and thin for a high-capacity pistol. Second, the long and somewhat heavy trigger is a safety feature not found in pistols with light and short triggers.

Well done Bob, Sd is a awesome CCW and shoots very well. Im impressed with my 40 since I added to my collection. Its fun to shoot and I also used federals ammo with no hicups.

He's a noob that had only 1 prior post and the member he accused of bragging was just stating the fact that a trigger that's long and heavy is safer than one that's short and light.

I have an Alien Tuck for my SD9VE. I like it because you can adjust the tension as to how much retention you like holding your pistol in the holster. Comes with extra retainer studs and also you can buy the Kydex part to swap out for a different gun you want to carry that day.
Hi folks I'm new here also. I also prefer the slightly heavier trigger pull of my SW9 and SW40. I have more expensive pistols but they aren't any more reliable function wise and the practical accuracy of my Sigmas is more than acceptable. They hit where I am aiming and go bang every time I pull the trigger!
I liked my first Sigma. Had problems with it, but the factory fixed it up. It was the 9mm, and for some reason I find it a lot of fun to shoot. Liked it so much that I bought a used .40 Sigma for a real good price! It's also also a lot of fun...the triggers don't bother me at all. I also have a SD 9 that my wife bought me way back. I've never shot it, but I'm guessing it's real good, too. Have fun.

I have a .40 shield (hard on the hands), A SIG 1911 Carry Scorpion, a colt 380 but the most fun I have shooting is my Sd9ve. The sd9ve has a relatively long trigger pull but it keeps getting better as the rounds go down range
