So what, other than a Smith and Wesson is hiding in your gun safe, closet or wherever?

I would like to not think of myself as a gun snob. I enjoy alot of different firearms. As long as they do the job and are dependable.

Padre Jorge has opened the confessional.

I will not be too proud and start it off.

Lllama Maxi L/F .45 1911
A cheap, hated by many 1911 copy. Not the greatest detail to machine work, BUT..a great shooter with 3 dot factory sights and it eats every type of round I have put through it!

Inexpensive big bore auto fun !

I call this the Hungarian Goulash Gun...FEG P9R 9mm. Purchased LNIB for $200.Beautiful bluing and machine work. I love the hybrid Hi-power/Model 59 features. Great accurate fun shooter.

Now, are you wanting just other brands, or the ones we wouldn't bring out to impress our friends and fellow collectors lol? I haven't bothered photographing it, but I'll confess that there is a Kimmel AP-9 hiding in my closet, well out of sight. Nothing like the universally despised TEC-9 and it's clones to get the people sneering!

This is a first year thompson contender. 1970? It came in a large mahogany presentation case with the logo on top. Silver butt plate for engraveing. Came in 45 colt/.410 shotgun with the screw on choke. I added a barel in .256 Win mag and the leoupold M-8 scope.

bet that 256 is noisy. the only gun idon't show that i;m not proud of is a ruger in 30carbine. fun to shoot, but not much good for anything. these days i have almost as many horses as smiths.

Non-Smith Confession time... O.K. Mine is a Beretta 92FS that I bought just a few weeks ago. The other is a Rock Island Armory 1911 .45 ACP that I got last week in a double-header deal... saw it and a S&W 15-3 and took them both home.

A 2 shot Cobra Derringer, a 5 shot J frame size Taurus, and a 5 shot J frame size Charter arms ( loaner guns.)

.22 Heritage Rough Rider from my Father-in-law a couple years ago. I still have yet to shoot it since I got it.

I don't have any Tauri (isn't that the plural of Taurus?), but there may be an RG in there somewhere. Or two. One is a great little single action .22LR/.22WMR. The other is your typical RG. :( Like the man says, ya pays yer money and ya takes yer chances.

Hmm, too many that I care to reveal on the semi auto side, so, sticking to revolvers, I hate to admit that the inside of my safe holds a Ruger GP100 ( I'm sorry-I had to!) and an
Uberti Virginian (sigle action)

My favorite non Smith is my Service Six Ruger (it was originally 38 Spl, but now it has a 357 cylinder)....Fixed sights, shoots 357 158 grn factory loads to POA, and carries like a dream.....I like this gun (courtesy of member ColbyBruce)

dtrina, say it ain't so!!! Oh, my confession...Ruger single six, Taurus 85, Browning Hipower .40, Sig P250, Polish Radom, an old Star in 9mm Largo, an Erma .22 Luger copy, a couple black powder handguns...wow, I feel cleansed!!!!

Ha, I think I got the only functional, non-cracked frame AP-9 in existence, so I'm hanging on to it. It's a fun novelty to waste some ammo on, not much more than that.

Surprisingly, my smiths get along just fine with all the rest of my nice firearms of different manufacturers in the safe, the AP-9 is the only red-headed stepchild of the group. Here is one that does make my Smiths a tad bit jealous...a Colt Camp Perry. I've been looking for a 3rd model Perfected .22 to even the balance, but haven't had the funds available when I've come across one yet. It will be an epic battle when I finally get one for top honors.

I won't bother with the bottom feeders. There are FEG, Ruger, SIG and RIA in there. No Smiths.

This is my first wheelgun. '82 vintage Taurus 669 .357 Magnum. Finish is beautiful, it shoots just fine. No hate for the Taurus here. ;)
