Just talked with Cabelas rep. The CCI is out, the Remington 22LR is still in stock but only 1 each.

For those of you within driving distance of New Alexandria, PA - 35 mile east of Pittsburgh just off US RT 22 - Bullseye Firearms Gun Vault just received several hundred value packs and bricks of various .22LR ammo for its Anniversary sale TOMORROW, Aug 17th 10am to 4pm.

Winchester 235's, Federal 325's, Winchester 100 packs of Super Speed and several types of Aguila ammo.

They said there will be a 5 package/brick mix and match limit.

If you are in the Milwaukee area, Gun World (Lanon road off 41/45, Gander Mountain Firearms Center) has a pallet of 22LR. Yes, I said a pallet! The have 40g Federals in 325rd boxes for $17.99 or about 5c per round. CCI 500 rd boxes (10x50rd) for $49. CCI not as good a deal at 9c per.

Limit one box of Federals OR, and here is the kicker, a case counts as a box. So you can buy a 10 box case for $179.90 and have 3250 rds. I bought a case and a box of CCI (they let you buy one each). The CCI is 1040fps (think) while the Federals are 1200 something. Rick needed more ammo so I got him the CCI which will shoot good in his pistol for his CCW classes he teaches.

The pile was fully 4' from floor to top of cases. And it was going fast. Better get there tomorrow early or it will be gone. Bring your wife/spouse/friend. Limit 1 per person.

Maybe nobody likes the Golden's. Raydee gave a shout out 2 hours ago and they're still available. These are the 525 round bricks!!!

Same at Gander Mountain in Lake Park, Florida, not pallets, though. Had these behind the gun counter, at $17.99. It was the standard velocity / target / semi-automatic load. I thought it was a great bargain compared to what I pay for CCI standard / target rounds on a good day in times past. They said "no limit" but there were only 6 boxes, on the shelf. I bought 4. Going back today.

Model 41/46 and the High Standards Supermatic / Trophys are finicky. They don't like the high velocity loads but function very reliably with Standard Velocity / Target loads. This is the first time I noticed the box marked "Semi-Automatic Target".
