Remington Golden Bullet 525 rounds were available I tried to order 4 but when I went to check out, I got a message saying "due to low availability my quantity had been updated" and it changed to 3. It let me check out the 3 boxes. I did this at 11:17pm EST approximately. Last Thursday on the 18th, at the same time, I was able to get 2 boxes of the Winchester M22 1000 round boxes. Those were delivered to my home by Fed-Ex yesterday. Not sure if they are updating at this time everyday or just select days. But this twice in the last week I have been able to order. There were about 5 different options for purchasing .22 LR when I loaded the page. I didn't really pay attention to the others as I quickly selected the bulk box option with the Golden Bullet. But by the time I had checked out which took me almost 5 minutes because I had to enter my info twice with the quantity update it forced on me, there was only CCI quiet ammo $2.99 for 50 rounds, Federal Premium $2.49 for 50 rounds and Remington ELEY for $11.99 for 50 rounds, that is all that was still remaining.
If you order from Gander, make sure your order is over $50 and the shipping is free, so the $9 ammunition surcharge is basically your shipping cost and that is how it is listed on your invoice, as a shipping charge. I agree, not that great of a deal with only ordering 500 rounds and paying basically $15 in shipping. Although If you wait until the brick options are back, I got the Win M22 1000 boxes for $54.99 each, so with taxes and the "ammo surcharge" it was $126, came out to $0.063 per round. The Golden Bullet ended up being $0.056 per round.
this isnt showing up in the site under rimfire which is strange but it let me order 2k rounds got confirmations and everything, they may be having some issues on the website but it still let me order my stuff just now. best of luck
