OFFICIAL Using Wal-Mart App/Website

It's been slim here too. Maybe they wanted to raise their prices and then flood the stores with ammo so that they can get more money out of us. I've only been finding things like subsonic, quiet, and .22 short. One of the stores had 50 round boxes of 9mm. My closest WM had lots of 12 gauge 100 round packs yesterday. I haven't seen those for a while.

The Colt ARs went up to $1500 too.

Someone else has posted this theory first - I agree with it and am passing it along.

Like many other retailers, WalMart engages in contracts for a given time period. Say, X number of units shipped over Y time period for Z dollars per unit. In WalMart's case, the volume is staggering. As a vendor, to win one of these contracts is both a blessing and a curse. You can make a ton of money or lose your tushy, depending on circumstances.

Ammunition vendors have been obligated to provide WalMart ammunition at a price that is no longer advantageous to them for over 6 months.

My guess is that the old contracts have expired and the higher shelf price reflects the result of the new contract.

I scored two boxes of 9mm winchester white box yesterday and the App doesn't even list that they carry it. There was also a lot of other ammo in different sizes that was also not updated on App. Got to be some truth to it not working. I check this walmart regularly and they rarely have any stock.

My local WM has at least 5 different .40 cal that do not show up on a search with the app. You have to scan the bar-code from the box to have them show up.

On another note it looks like Federal and Remington 40 have gone up in price by about 5%. Their still the cheapest in town so I'm not complaining.

Every WM around got ammo today. I got more 22lr. They got mostly Remington in many calibers. I was shocked to see .40 for $44.37 for 100 rounds. .380 was $19 something for 50 rounds. :(

Mine finally got some 9mm in this afternoon but they can't seem be able to find the 100 round boxes. They are in that store somewhere or went out the back. Settled for 3/50 round boxes of BrassMax.

Our local WM got 22 in last night and I took the first step on the road to recovery by NOT stopping in and grabbing the M22's that showed in stock.

We were at the McDonald's in the same shopping complex and they were calling my name big time but I resisted.

Mrs was pretty impressed lol.

I've been using the app for six months, works pretty well around here, have noticed that not everything shows up on it but enoughshows up so that I know when they got an order in, I check it multiple times a day and when I see stock show up I know when the stocking time is for my local stores and get what I need.

Was in Wally World at lunch to get a fishing license. Got a nice surprise!

Just looked at my app and Fed Champion went up in price on 50 round boxes to 14.67 from 13.97. Old contract must have ran out. No price listing for 100 round boxes. Must be why they've been getting a lot of BrassMax.

stopped at wm sat morning at 7am on the way to work cause it said win 555 in stock, no ammo and nobody around to ask, sent a guy from work over at 9am and no ammo, he called me and I said ask somebody :)
he showed up 15 minutes later with 3 boxes :))))

WW had PPU .40 180gr JHP yesterday, this is the first time that I've seen it there. I picked up 1 box to try it out, brass case, JHP for $19., should be good enough for the range. Does anyone have any good or bad experiences with these?

BTW they also has 1k rd bricks of .22 Winc. $49. One box was on the shelf at 8:15am when I was there, the guy behind me grabbed it, made his day.

The PPU didn't show up on the app, see bar code posted below if your looking for some.

I downloaded app but I'm not sure how to use it. I shop and find what I'm looking for but not sure how to see if its in stock or how to get notifications when in stock.

seems nobody is checking this page anymore :)

app has been working for me

App working fine here too.

I think a combination of Walmart raising prices, and the ammo shortage easing up made it less desirable to chase Walmart ammo.

Excluding 22LR I can find ammo online just about as cheap or even cheaper, not have to pay sales tax, dont have to drive to the store, and its delivered right to my door.
