Gotta love it...

My wife and daughter drug me to the REI store in Bellevue, WA this past weekend... Not my favorite place, nice stuff (I guess) but the crowd scene isn't to my liking....

Sooooo, I took a stroll around the place and this BBQ was in the "used" area....
Now - I know it takes all kinds - but who would buy a portable BBQ, use it one time and return it? Furthermore, why would REI even consider taking it back???? And, look at the used price... $150....!!

Going back 40yrs to my youth, I was a stock-boy for housewares in a ritzy department store. Do you recall how expensive(& huge) the very first home-use microwave ovens were? We had a gent return one after using it for his daugter's baby-shower, or some such.....over $800 for a filthy, un-sellable ***. Alas, that was the store's policy..
