I'm with bamabiker on this one!
I'll have to sit this one out, my grandfather and father were humble quite men but their sayings while legendary aren't politically correct any longer if they ever were!
Dad was very quick and loved to quote Confucius time to time, although I was never a scholar and studied the arts I learned many lessons from them.

"Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance." ~ Confucius
One of Dad's favorites just to make the kids laugh (only innocent one I can think of that won't get me banned)...
