One More Question On 45 Colt Ammo?

Lead bullets are almost a thing of the past now days. Many casters are not even selling them any longer. Up until 3 years ago I never used polymer coated bullets but now I would not consider anything else but Polymer coated.

They are just as accurate, load easily and most importantly, the smoking after firing is minimal as there is no wax used on them. They are minimally more expensive compared to the old lead, but IMHO worth the slight extra cost.

They are also a pleasure to load because the press doesn't get full of lead and wax. :)

Another possible answer to the high price of .45 Colt (and limited ammo type selection) is a caliber conversion. I am too old/arthritic/lazy to reload anymore, but got tired of the price to feed my three (3) Colt SAA revolvers (one from each generation in that caliber), so I obtained a Colt 3rd Gen. Cylinder in .45 ACP and a friend fit it for me. Best choice I could have made. Less expensive with a far greater load selection for the non-reloader.

Well I don't know who Berry is,LOL but all of the reviews like I said before on copper coated 250 gr Defender ammo and shoots awesome. Defender works for me just fine. Great reviews and price on Ammo Seek.
