IT'S A WINCHESTER MODEL 69A!
Bingo! This Winchester 69A was fitted by me with a Fajen stock. I have a number of 69s and 69As (one was my first gun), and selected this one for outstanding accuracy and its grooved receiver. The stock fits me perfectly, and the scope provides better sighting for my aging eyes. I think the combination makes for a handsome rifle.
I also have a 75 sporter which is outstandingly accurate (perhaps the best of all my .22s), but was reluctant to re-stock it for collector reasons. Those guessing a 75 registered close guesses, as the actions are the same, but the barrel is shorter and chambered for .22 LR only.
