well we had the OOB experience. Sent it back and when I get it back there are no explanations one what was done and the magazine I included as it seemed to snag is sent back too.

what sh!tty service. so if it happened early in the game magazines were given, now they are to cheap/lazy to fix the damn broke-azz magazines! so pissed as the cust rep originally even said mags are sent!!!!

Do you think it's possible they fixed it but problem wasn't with the mag? Either way I would think they would have some info in with returned product

When mine 15-22 was sent back it only stated, upgraded to factory specs, I had the older style mags so they replaced with ones that said 25rds on the side of them. I did not send all mags but the original 1 I kept works as well as the 2 new ones.

ok, so my rant is off. grumpy from work and time change.

So I called and double checked what was done. I could tell the springs had been changed (blue now).
got the standard "upgraded to new factory specs".
rep stated no mention anywhere regarding the mag despite my concern during the first call, and written instructions with rifle, and big question mark on mag in white paint.
if it still fails I have a shipping label.... geez why not eval 2 birds with one stone??
guess the mag(s) for your trouble days are gone. hoping for some range time on Wed!!

My brother bought a 15-22 on my recommendation. Within 200 rounds or so he had multiple FTF and FTE. (I did not witness this myself as I was down a few lanes) He also had an OOB and that was it for him. It was definitely an OOB and I got to pull the shrapnel out of his rifle as he was a bit flustered/disappointed.

He should be getting his rifle back about Wednesday. I am withholding judgement until after I see what the fix is. I noted some damage, and if any of the damage is still there things are going to go south in a hurry. I feel bad for recommending the rifle to my brother, but I have had only very minor issues with my rifle thus far...all attributed to my own error or bad ammo. I even rapid-fired 6 clips in a row to see if it would jam/etc. No issues with the rifle.

The variance between our rifles kinda bugs me...are tolerances in craftsmanship that loose I wonder?

I am beginning to wonder and lose a bit of faith. I bought one of the very first and within the first hour of purchase experienced the dreaded OOB and zipped right back to the LGS. Luckily I do a fair amount of business and I have a good rapport with the retired mil types working there so they took it back and I opted for another toy while I decided if I wanted another... well the flash hider sold me and I bought another. This is the one that was just returned.

I have the 'momma' 15X and love it. zero issues (knock on wood). I truly hope this fixes it. my son and I love dressing it up and shooting it!!

I think you'll be very happy once your rifle is fixed. I've had no trouble with my DVA 15-22 as far as the gun goes (few ammo related problems).

Well my brother got his rifle back today. No extra magazines. There were nicks/chewy-ness in a couple places. The questionable parts have all been replaced and he tells me that it appears to have had about as many rounds through it as my rifle (which is 1000+ LOL)

So it was dirty...but to me that's a good thing because I am guessing he will be good to go. He says that there is no information about what was fixed/replaced but there is a number to call so he will be calling tomorrow just to see what was done. I suspect all is well and we can go to the range this weekend. I am happy for him...although a couple mags would have been nice. O-well no biggie as long as the rifle works well. :)

Don't think they'll be sending free mags anymore
