Open Carry comes to Mississippi

The Mississippi Supreme Court vacated a circuit court judges injunction delaying implementation of the open carry law.

No permit needed for open carry in Mississippi.

I'd call that another Second Amendment victory.

We saw a guy open carrying (OC) in VA at a Caracker Barrel waiting to get a table. No one said a word about the OC and the man took his table along with everyone else.

I don't live in Mississippi, but I consider the advance of freedom in any state a victory for all of us!

Interestingly, open carry might come to MA based on a recent MA Supreme Judicial Court decision. The case wasn't directly about open carry, but the court said that someone elses alarm at seeing a legally owned firearm was not reason for revocation of a license. It's a bit complex, but the case has some significant implications for firearms owners in the state.

That aside, the Mrs. and I are looking at moving when we can.
